The brutish lug of a man sitting next to you bears a tattoo on his forehead that reads I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU. His eyes read the same.

In his big meaty paw is a crudely crafted shiv. He holds it low between the two of you, wagging it back and forth to draw your attention. You look down at the blade, consisting of a roughly sharpened piece of scrap metal with a handle made of wound electrical tape, and notice it's stained with dark brown blood. The knuckles of the hand that grip it each wear a single letter adding up to the word MURD. Maybe it's his name. Murd the big scary convict man.

"Here, take it."

Your gaze darts from the handcrafted shank to the crowded prison bus, filled with the low hum of muffled conversations among inmates. The armed guard at the front seems disinterested, focused intently on two blue-suited cons loudly swapping fuck stories.

The bus rattles and groans as it moves, the air thick with tension and the acrid scent of prisoner sweat. Murd's intense gaze bores white hot into the side of your skull, your periphery flooded with the neon orange of his jumpsuit.

The choice is yours and it needs to be made quickly. Accepting the shiv could mean entangling yourself in a perilous situation. Refusing might provoke Murd's aggression. The bus rumbles on, each passing moment amplifying the pressure of your decision.
